Turkish Criminal Procedure Code has been enacted in 2004 and is in force since June, 1.2005.

The Bill of a Turkish Criminal Procedure Code had been translated by me already in 2003 and then rewieved in 2007.

Jelani Jefferson Exum, Associate Professor of Law at Kansas University, School of Law has edited this translation. I very much appreciate the scientific introduction written by her that compares Turkish Criminal Procedure with the Criminal Procedure in the United States of America.

Ayşe Tezel who is official translator for Turkish language at the Federal Courts in the United States has also co-edited the revised text for its better understanding and made such important contributions that deserves a title of co-translator as well.
